Through testing we were able to reduce heat creep temperatures in the heat sink by 7.1% for PLA @ 200C and 6.4% for ABS @ *260C. These numbers may not seem big to you, but considering the size of the fan, this is a great accomplishment and we are looking to improve these numbers. This brings down the threshold of any potential jams that can occur during printing, and when you’re into an 8hr+ print, any little bit helps.
*260C is the maximum allowable on a standard Ender 3 printer.
